After you have enabled Multi Window Mode and Split Screen View on the HTC One M9, look for a grey half or semi circle on the screen. This grey semi circle or half circle on the HTC One M9 screen means that the feature is enabled and you’re ready to start using the Split Screen Mode on the HTC One M9.

Select the semicircle with your finger to bring multi window to the top and start using the Split Screen Option. Then drag the icons from the menu to the window you want it to open in. A great feature on the HTC One M9 is the ability to resize the window by pressing and holding the circle in the middle of the screen to change the position to anywhere on the screen.
